Back when I managed Everton I used to just add myself as Blackburns manager and buy Andy hinchcliff for 30 million. Then I'd fine Sutton and shearer to make them unhappy then buy them for a couple million each. Why do this Everton make it look so difficult I don't know?. It's easy.

I am not doubting you, but why would they openly target an RB, and also witness Patterson this summer and decide that we no longer need one?

I counted 16 senior players because Tyrer, Armstrong, Iroegbunam and Chermiti are not senior players. To be honest I’m reluctant to count Coleman seeing as he can’t actually physically play football.

We all know how it goes under Moyes: starts off talking up the probability of a good few signings, then that's downgraded to possibly a good few signings, then we're told that the market is tight at the moment, then the season starts and everyone's thoughts are on that, then he'll tell us we have to see what the final week brings - and if things move into place we'll be bringing hopefully 2 or 3 in, then the window closes with a cash deal done and maybe a loan deal.

I have no faith in Moyes demanding cash off this lot. He's a company man to the core.

Probably could have done with more of that under Moshiri though, mind.

They've probably just got so far into the window where other positions have to take priority.
