Yes we have we also appointed or reappointed tons more senior role the man city head of recruitment and development, which ties in with Mcatee being a main target. Only joined the other week so smart money would say before opening negotiations we'd want him in position to lead them.

Side note I think Kobos sister is a top rated player also.

He looks good just don’t think he will have the stature to compete in the premier league….

And let’s be honest there isn’t much contest for best RW for a decade…. Harrison, Walcott… this it?

Defo need a RW, and he looks technically gifted. I just don’t think he would cut it physically.

TFG aren't idiots, they understand how much investment the squad would need and will have had people in place who told them this before they bought us.

That figure I think will turn out conservative by the end of the window.

Mcatee is a no brainer - he'd be the poster boy of a new Everton - fantastic player with great potential and an absolutely Moyes type player in terms of character. Type of player you can build a team around.

He is about 1 in 4 for g/a in La Liga since he broke through. Which for a winger isn’t bad.

For Sociedad he is about a 1 in 3 across all comps. Again, that’s pretty good going as a winger.

I dont think we will sign another player till a week before Leeds, personally.

So Leeds aren't signing anyone for at least eight days then. A weird strategy as we'd need to know 7 days in advance when Leeds planned to buy someone ...
