Read his posting history..he is not worth responding to.You don't think the Stadium is elite?
I mean, it depends on what you are looking for. I’d rather have a player who will lift the level of the team than worry about the age profile. So why should we give him a contract mate?
We should be looking to get younger players in with potential resale value who are quicker and more agile .
It feels like we are in a constant state of purgatory. People mention us being competitive or “we will be fine”. What does that entail exactly in the grand scheme of things.
I know it’s difficult given what has gone on, it’s why we need to be smart with who we do actually bring in.
Too many times in the past it’s a case of “he will do for a year or two “. It’s proven time and again it has got us no where the majority of the time.
It causes boredom and cynicism in the fan base.
Just think it's strange you'd say that and yet have a picture of the stadium as your avatar.Read his posting history..he is not worth responding to.
You could apply similar logic to literally any transfer that happens. “If X is so good why would Y ever sell?”If he’s that good why would a fellow mediocre team be willing to sell him?
“Why sign this Jagielka fella who was part of a defence that just got relegated?”You could apply similar logic to literally any transfer that happens. “If X is so good why would Y ever sell?”

For a modest investment in fee and wages (say the final price is 15-20) you are getting a proven first team player who will help us push away from near the bottom and toward a potential European push.
You’ll have to replace him in a few years, but that’s the nature of the sport. It’s not like the club would be spending crazy money on a punt. This is a transfer that genuinely falls under that “Moneyball” category.

I think he's saying the pitch is too smallI think it’s great, could do with some aesthetics internally but I really like it.
If West Ham are stupid enough to sell one of their most important players to a rival that’s on them. They will also be selling him at a price which will not be enough to replace what they are losing. To me it’s a make do signing , we should be moving away from that kind of thinking and be a long term team. Younger players who want to win and will have longevity, more energy and pace in the team with the aim to win one of the domestic cups in the next year or two.
If an average team similar to us like West Ham dont see the player as a solution for them going forward we shouldn’t be interested in my opinion.
Why boost their bank balance for a player like that?
