I mean he doesn't constantly do it. He had to do it due to injuries to McNeil and then last night with Ndiaye not there.

If alcaraz is gonna be a squad option then I look forward to an influx of quality over the next few weeks.

But he had options last season when we were safe, but he preferred doucoure there

He is superior to anyone we have in that position and has the energy required.

Only going off what’s been said and the profile moyes would like in the 10 role, or at least a different option. Let’s wait and see what happens

Like Alcaraz in the No10 role but I do get the impression Moyes is less keen on him there.
Seems to only play him there when there’s no alternative.

From your posts you indicated you only saw him once at Derby, very likely the game a lot of people watched where Derby lost and he was poor. In other games he was the go to and get out guy in the middle of three midfielders. What impressed me so much was how he moved towards players under pressure to receive the ball and help out . He has this technique of willingly receiving a pass when under pressure, opening his body so the ball rolls away into space and playing the ball out of trouble. He did it do often . Can he do the same in the PL , well I’d answer that with if he’s doing it at 18 in the Championship then why not .

Sure, he looks ok. I just think people are going overboard on him because he's young like he's a Rooney/Barkley level talent. He hasn't shown enough yet for me to get hyped up about him. Could easily be another Tom Davies. Seen too many youngsters talked up over the years on here that have fallen by the wayside.

Nobody is making out that he’s a Rooney level talent, not one single soul.

He has 81 pages on his own thread. People were saying he was levels above anyone else in our midfield last night. Everyone needs to calm down on him. He’s shown very very little as yet to justify any degree of excitement. I’m more excited about Tim.

Well you said “I want to see him be braver in possession, ask for it under pressure ” . I said I’d seen it and gave examples, in I believe a balanced manner.
If you disagree cos you’ve seen different that’s fine, it’s a Forum with different views, you seem to be on a personal mission to try to shoot down anything positive said about him.
