Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

All they're doing here is pissing off the player. The best they can hope from this is they get the release fee + a little extra as a sweetener.
I'm all for it, with the way this undignified behaviour carries on, players there won't fancy falling for the same trick and prospective players will swerve em.

Thank god it isn't us

People say this but unless we get some top midfielders in he’s going to be lining up against two out of Garner, Gueye and Iroegbunam in the first game of the season and he’s more than capable of getting ont op of any of them. We need much better quality in the middle of the pitch. Glad we’ve not gone for Longstaff yes, but he’s the type of decent PL midfielder who will cause our one paced midfield problems if we don’t improve.

I d rather a different profile of player than longstaff but I don't think he is atrocious player almost everyone on this forum treats him as, he was playing in the champions League last season. For a club that struggled for several years out fanbase is incredibly condescending which I don't believe we've earned at all. I get you don't want mediocre players but sometimes it's excessive and just comes across as insufferably whiny

How is anyone offering 58 million for Luis Diaz, they need looking at.
Player value is a tricky thing to pitch accurately. Often it's length of contract. Diaz has two or three years left so his value remains pretty high. I suspect he goes for north of £60m - might be crazy money but it's partly driven by few credible alternatives for Bayern. Is there better out there who would improve Bayern while being available and also being better than Diaz? Quite a shallow pool of options.

Anthony Elanga going for £55m sets PL winning, 30 G/A Diaz value north of £70m imo. I mean all 'values' are mad aren't they but yeah.
