Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Even your pal park is a good example of quality control, yeah there were 'ok' sticking plaster freebies available but he clearly believes in do it right, do it once.

We might not get in spectacular players for each position but I'd be amazed if David Moyes left us short in any department and just hoped to wing it.

Mark is a great example mate, we could have went with someone random at low cost, but we've made a significant investment in Mark not just the fee but the whole package, we made it very attractive for him to sign.

A bit of thought and investment went into it and when you look at resale value he will be 31 when his contract ends - realistically you are making a decision at 29/30, so there is resale there to, 30 is 25 for a keeper.

Point being, there was no lack of investment or thought that didn't go into the detail for a decision that is essentially a back up - which shows the thoroughness and foresight going into quality control.

This is beyond - lets throw another year at Begoivc stuff.

When Travers is announced that’s 3 in the first month of the window. There’s 6 weeks to go. Even maintaining the current pace is more than that and everyone knows things pick up pace towards the end.
Allow me to slighty ammend my comment. I can only see us paying money for another 3 possibly 4 players. Maybe we will add some frees to that number.
