Strange summer tbh, we’ve pretty much done everything right so far in terms of who we have kept, released and signed, yet the first XI is no stronger at all yet.

Could still go either way.

I think as well, they end being half owned by another club and then we can't do the deal. Not an issue under Italian FA rules, hence why you get of lot of Portuguese and Brazilian players moving there instead.

A lot of Brazilian players can get either a Portuguese or an Italian passport or both

Its not affecting you .
You dont see the irony in making dozens of posts on the thread while complaining about others posting?

I simply cannot understand lads on here just picking random players from across the world that they think we should sign , that we haven't even been linked with.
Cannot see the point , and an absolute waste of time.
That said , it is an open forum , and everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Nonsense...we wouldn't be willing to pay the release clause without knowing first if the player was keen or not. Agents keep using Everton and I guess with TFG, it seems that's easy...except so far roma is spending more than us even they are under worst financial restrictions than us...priorities i guess.

Good signing for Roma. Key point for me there is 'done on Roma's conditions.

If our own commitee is operating on similar strategies it would explain a fair few things.

Possibly that should mean we do get players through the door who want to play for the club and not just the ££s..
