Strong incel vibes from you as well. Watched my daughter play in Under 9 games yesterday. She loves football and now loves Everton. There's absolutely no need to be disparaging about women's football. There's nothing negative about it.Because his opinion doesn’t fall in line with yours? Women’s football is absolutely turgid.

Some muppet on here kept repeatedly saying his injury would keep him out until Christmas, based on his extensive medical knowledge derived from watching a couple of episodes of Doc Martin.Yeh I don’t know why people thought he was gonna miss the start of the season. Think it was reported ages back he was due in early July.
Little goal keeper in the oppo was player of the match yesterday in the final against my daughter's team. Won them the game.C’mon now, the goalkeepers at least.

The good thing for me, barring injuries, is that come first game of the season we can put out the same XI that was really strong second half of last season. There’s continuity there and whilst it needs strengthening and needs rotation, that’s a solid starting point.
I liken the whole argument to League and Union. Different codes of same game. Or Test and T20 cricket. Its ok to like both. Its ok to like one. Or none. Whats irrelevant is what others think of your opinion. Theyre entitled to their own views, just as long as they don't tell you that your own are wrong.Because his opinion doesn’t fall in line with yours? Women’s football is absolutely turgid.
Hey I could be wrong but I'm assuming they'll definitely will want some bodies in before they go to the states for some friendlies, for the optics when playing abroad.I get the anxiety but as long as they're not trying to bring in eight players in deadline day , Im alright with them being thorough. People want quality and speedy transfers with sometimes is a paradox because the better players you have to sway to sign with 5 other clubs being serious too. Then other transfers don't become available until a chain reaction occurs with the selling club, hey if we don't make the necessary transfers by the end of window I'll be incensed but until then I'm just going to let things play out.I think a lot of us are starting to get a bit twitchy here. I know a few have commented the last day or two telling everyone to stop “wetting the bed”
And that there’s still a month to go, but the reality is the squad is currently threadbare. Goat put up a first 11 and he’s correct in saying it’s a pretty good one, but underneath that there’s nothing there. An injury or two and we’re snookered.
Yes of course there’s still time, but the point people are making about getting them in in time to integrate them and give them a preseason here is a valid one. You just know we’ll get the tired old excuse come late August when new signings are not involved, that they’re “not ready”.
We need a strong link from reliable sources this coming week to calm a few me included. It’s time to start delivering.

Why aren't we allowed to tell people their views are wrong? People should be called out for chatting wham. Just as I am calling you out.I liken the whole argument to League and Union. It is just my opinion mate I know. Not trying to get on my high horse or anything about it. Imo even if you put the gendered aspect entirely to one side, the context changes quite a lot when it's members of a majority 'in' group making derogatory comments about members of a minority 'out' group - in any situation, that makes things feel more cliquey and exclusionary. Applies to being the new guy at work in the same way it applies to maybe being a woman browsing this forum. That's why I think it's different to men making comments about male footballers.
I just think football should be for everyone, and it's pretty clear that women - on average - don't feel quite as comfortable in football spaces as men. I might be wrong that making fewer comments like that would change that, but it's just my opinion.
Nope, I only have one login for this place, unlike some. Was it you mate?![]()
I watch a lot of women's sport and usually enjoy it.
Generally at the top level the women make up for a lack of athleticism and physicality but having excellent technique.
I routinely play table tennis against top quality women's players . I like watching women's golf because quite frankly it's more relatable to how I and 90% of men play distance wise.
However football is in my humble opinion a massive exception to this "rule". Save for Lauren James and Leah Williamson the lack of decent technical skills in the England team is absolutely shocking. Spain have a couple of decent players but that's about it.
I had to laugh when I read an article suggesting that Mary Earps - "Mary Queen of Stops " ( how cringeworthy can you get ) had made goalkeeping " cool".
FFS .
