I remember @Simon Buttle posting about him and Dan Neil.

Hackney seemed the better player if i remember correctly.

Not sure how he was doing by the end of the season...also whether he'd be a first choice for us.
Think moyes will have the spine pretty much the same at the start of the season, but will have minutes and time to impress. Esp when gana goes to the acon, looks to have a good range of passing and is something we need in games when we have alot of the ball.
I know he’s been mentioned, but why have we not made more effort to sign that Fellows guy at West Brom. We were all over him in January , or maybe it’s ongoing, everything moves so slowly at this club!
Think he is prob second choice of the wingers the club is bringing in and can pretty much close the deal. Is just about getting the first choice in then him maybe, or get another loan in

Travers is a solid backup keeper, even if he's a few mill, but wanting to join a club where he'll definitely be back-up at his age? Strange.

No complaints ability-wise though. Frees Tyrer up for, hopefully, a lower Champ loan.

I guess you watched him at Boro last season?

If he was good then how come hes not going somewhere as 1st choice and seemingly never had that decision to make?

Is strange maybe the money has convinced him was he first choice at boro last season. Is one of the strangest positions in football because the age can go on for and also how hard it is to get in. Same as pope at newcastle if they bring in trafford could get in alot of teams but seems happy to be a number 2 now
