Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I guess we're only capable of working on one deal at a time. Probably get our third badly-needed signing of the window in three weeks, the fourth in six weeks when the league starts, then scrape around for another four before the deadline, no doubt Harrison and Lindstrom being two of them back on loan - 🤢.

Me too, he was boss at Villa!
A complete non starter IMO. Bobbles mate saying wages were an issue so we’ve lost out to Besiktas for Walker Peters and that the strategy here is now different. If we wouldn’t pay the wages for walker Peters then we certainly wouldn’t for Luiz! That’s why I’m expecting younger players in that haven’t already got the big reputations.

Not sure what that means. It's a shame we didn't raid Wigan more after their FA Cup win because they were clearly a different level to us.
Not sure why youre rattled. I stated facts. Eze gets in here. So does Guehi. And Wharton. And the Columbian RB. Oh, Mateta too. They've a better squad and won more recently. Definitely operating at a higher level. And, FWIW, a travesty they've been demoted from Europa.

Is this bobbles mate who had selfies with Kenwright and josh wander ?

Are we sure it's a cup we want? The Champions League "narrative" gets drilled into modern players brains from a very young age.

I get the modern era push for Champions League. First of all, for a club starved of success, and European football, beggars can't be choosers. Cup success any day of the week please.

It's regular cup wins and finals, trips to Wembley, that propels clubs. That's what we need to do.
