Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Palhinha is a weird link unless he's super cheap, which seems unlikely. Be odd to get a backup/future replacement for Gueye that's already 30. Would make a lot of sense if Gueye hadn't re-signed.
Totally agree. I liked him a lot at Fulham but for the same reason I love Gana. It’d two ball destroyers and would necessitate a true 3rd CM which I don’t think Moyes wants to do.

Though we should keep in mind that some names that come out might be outdated and part of contingency plans.

If Gueye is starting for us every game next season something is wrong. We need to find his successor in the engine room.
I doubt you'd find a successor in the engine room - far too oily and noisy, with next to no room. Training pitches and footy stadia are the places to look in my view. Just sayin'.

dont really agree would see palhinha as more of a barry than gana who is more about pressing chasing the ball down. He would just sit also better on the ball, out of the two would prefer luiz but would still be a great move imo

Actually thinking about this - id like to sign some players before drunken sailor Nottingham Forest enter the market with £115 mill burning a hole in their pockets.
Not sure how much they will have but if do sell will certainly make other teams increasr prices. Have put in a bid for wisa and been qyoted 50 mill; be tough replwcing mgw
