he got a black belt in taekwondo at the age of 17, good luck

A few things at Forest mate. The situation is volition there with the owner, it will be fine if the standard is maintained but if there is difficulty, he will flip 100%.

They were very well coached last year, but they have one trick and teams worked that trick out in the last 3rd of the season.

I feel like a lot of their players played above their mean last season, it’s interesting none have had any interest beyond Elanga. They also got very lucky with injuries.

I feel with a European campaign they could be stretched as well with second season syndrome.

The two seasons before without a wildly different squad they were almost relegated.

Strongly agree. I think if we look at our own 05/06 season and how that went after we went hard in 04/05 with all the 1 nils etc, There are strong similarities in how we both think it may play out at Forest from these examples The owner is eccentric in the extreme absolutely.. True too teams have found them out. Even with our cobbled together side last season they didn't really cause us many problems after easily beating us at Gooduson the previous season.

Agreed, that owner is bad news. They have it in them to go from one extreme to another.

The pointing fingers at Palace was distasteful also. Not to mention at ourselves. People in glass houses and all.

I'd be looking forward to Europe as a Forest fan but tainted with a sense of foreboding.

It's cold, detached strategy you want not hot headedness. It will backfire.

Wouldn't last 30 seconds with Big Dunc , or Mick Lyons !

Fair point

it's no more than faux physicality allowed these days unless it's the loveable reds then you can manhandle who you want . Psycho Pat would probably eat him for breakfast too. Think Haaland would run home to his mum as well if he had to face Pat or Big Dunc today.

When you look where it went seriously South for the, last year mate it was when we beat them in the last minute.

They never really recovered.

Agree

Horrible behaviour from the owner. After our 5-1 drubbing away in 05 to Bucharest we just never recovered fir the rest of the season . One of Moyes lowest points too playing Hibbo CB that night iirc.

Conference league whilst one more competition than we are in may feel a bit meh to some Forest fans after looking like at least Europa League and strong contenders for Chanps league for a while as @Neiler said we broke them in last minute of our game at their place.

If they are not doing well in Europe and then not also dealing well with the Thursday Sunday fixture rounds the fanbase will likely lose patience and the owner will act all.Moshiri like and knee-jerk sack Nuno and it will be Big Sam or similar for the rest of the season.

They will also get a significant fine from UEFA this season for exceeding squad cost ratio.

So Kubo McAtee and Wesley
Then loans to cover the rest

I think if we got those 3 we still need; CM, RB, LB and 2 GKs.

Maybe we could get loans to cover them, but I think we still seem to want a CM on a permanent; either Gallagher, Douglas Luiz or Florentino Luis.

I think we could get Tagliafico on a free at LB

Getting back up keepers on loan is a bit difficult because realistically they are not going to play unless Pickford is injured, so I think we will have to buy one, probably Mark Travers at Bournemouth and a veteran like Fraser Forster or Lucas Fabianski.

It’s just my opinion but I think Bellingham is massively overrated and was hugely propped up by essentially allowing to be a false 9 for Real Madrid with Modric and Kroos behind him doing the actual midfield work. When he was asked to play killed this season Madrid weren’t as good. I think he’ll be a problem for England and will end up being sidelined at Madrid eventually or pushed back up front.

That’s not to say he’s not a very good player he obviously is but there’s nothing in his game that Lampard or Gerrard weren’t doing (probably better) at the same age. I just don’t see him in the very top bracket of midfield players.
You are not alone, people will soon stop drinking the kool aid and recognize how overrated he is

We have got to get a RB its been 5-6 years we’ve need that sorting! O’brien isn’t a RB, coleman is a coach now essentially, dixons on loan and patterson well less said about him the better
