I will say this. Having a consistent goalscorer is how you pull a Forest. I fully believe we have a better squad but we need to convert some of those draws to dubs. If Barry and Beto can combine for a significant amount and our star defenders can stay healthy, we can be the SURPRISE team this year. It can happen quickly.

And due to Barry's freakish athleticism, I do not think he will be limited to one position. Depending on the day, he may be used in one of Moyes's hybrid roles. It could make us a matchup nightmare for some teams. I hope this lad ends up the real deal. Branthwaite-esque potential.

I’m excited for this signing. I love a tall mobile striker, seems like he’s got a ton of potential. Feels like a big swing having paid similar for Beto last year, but a swing we have to take. A great premier league striker remains the most difficult position in football to find.

Let’s just give him a chance before the booing starts, he is a young lad in the most competitive league in the world, it’ll probably be next season we see the best of him. I imagine Beti starts the first few months. But it’s exciting to have a new number 9.

Impressive that he speaks English also. I know it’s somewhat common, but never underestimate the power of speaking multiple languages.

The guy has never lived or played in England but he’ll be ready to settle immediately.
