At least we haven’t advanced to “seriously toying”. These so called journalists are a disgrace nowadays.Oooh, "toying with the idea", a new one from us.
Who cares how long it takes to negotiate the deal, watch how long it takes to complete from fee agreed to completion... Always been the same.Only accepted the bid yesterday, they’d been negotiating for about a week, or at least the interest was known from about a week ago.
Yes we agreed a fee a few days ago, but the lads been on holiday. He’s now on his way to finalise it all. Not the club’s fault he was on international duty for the early part of the summer. He was then entitled to a break.
And so what if they do complete it before we sign Barry? Will Elanga signing for Newcastle affect how Barry plays for us? I’d also wager that Newcastle are only working on a handful of deals and can move through them quicker. We’ve probably got 10 players spinning at the same time whilst trying to keep them all in motion.
If we’ve signed 2 players by the time the season starts, then I’ll piss the bed. Until then, just the let processes behind the scenes take place.
But once again, other teams can work during those times and complete signings. We started on this Barry track seriously only recently, okay, but we still can't act swiftly. We're on the verge of signing a major striker target and you feel this is typical Everton? Yes id like more signings in at this point but obviously things are in the works going from reports, it feels quite different from previous seasons but maybe that's just me. Also transfers don't just materialize, various tournaments were in play and vacations for players should be factored in as well
Until then I wouldn't get overworked but you be youIt's going to mate.
At least it's a new thing to see, I'm here for new ways to say "doing F.A. again"At least we haven’t advanced to “seriously toying”. These so called journalists are a disgrace nowadays.
hmmmmm......

It feels new but then you look at it and, as @ForeverEverton said, we're starting proper pre-season games in a week, pre-season training camp is already underway, no new signings in sight. We'll see them "bed in" and play better by November, again.
Very, very Everton so far.
Yeah, absolutely unheard of for players to come in and sign contracts while on their holidays, it has never happened ever, only every other team manages to do it but we're just gentlemanly like that and wait for a few weeks. He’s been away with the under 21s and on a break.
Imagine he would have already been here if he hasn’t played in a tournament.
Think Harry tyrer whose been on loan down the EFL is second choice atm.was quite calm during june and felt like we were restricted by the financial windows but we do need to get a move on
do we even have a goalkeeper at this Scotland camp or is it just a couple of the u21s?
I’ll carry on not wanting absolutely pony players at our club, instead of trying to justify the signing before it's even happens.Until then I wouldn't get overworked but you be you
it's been established that we couldn't start till July since psr was a factor we were able to get branthwaite to re sign along with gana, to bring 5 or 6 players before the first pre season game would be very daunting even city and Chelsea who have monopoly money to spend also had a tournament they wanted to win are the only ones buying several players at this point, and nowhere near that number.
