Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Strange thought but let’s find someone who can do both?

Be looking for a different skill set out wide overall myself, pace, more direct even someone who can come inside.

McNeill more then enough to be banging crosses in, though I wouldn’t turn my nose up at Douglas Luiz buzzing about free rolling at 10.

Luiz next to Gana ideally.

I’m not sure many will agree but the player I’ve seen most suited for what I’d like on the right is Doak. Only concerns I’d have is whether his injuries might have an impact.

Is it an Everton thing when apart from not having the ££s historically, it's the injury history that puts a dampaner on things?

To be fair we could work with a squad of around 23 easily enough but would have to be very lucky with injuries. If some of the squad are injury prone then it becomes an issue.

In the main the bigger clubs get to work around it by either having bigger squads, or buying players who are both quality and not as injury prone

3 or 4 windows down the line we'll have that dilemma maybe? 😊

Agree on Doak mate he’d be my choice and his skill set covers a lot of bases.

Haven’t seen the Japanese lad people are raving about mind.
