2024/25 James Tarkowski

And that's the big worry. If he doesn't come back from this injury close to how he was before it,it opens the door to Keane.

…..there’s a discussion to be had that our strongest pairing will be Branthwaite/O’Brien.

I’m equally concerned about the injury Tarkowski suffered, although it is worth noting he’s hardly missed a game since he’s been here. I was pleasantly surprised to see him back training, he might just be one of those really quick healers.

Unfortunately hamstring injuries tend to be the type that come back more often and age isn't on his side. The fact we have been linked with an out of contract Tete and a new contract for Young who knocked us back doesn't fill me with confidence.

Let's hope so, think you could count on one hand the amount of bad games he's had since he's been here.

It would be nice to have had one player recover from an injury in good time. We seem to have had more than our fair share of players picking up injuries that keep them out for a couple of weeks that end up taking months on top of months to recover from, and then getting another knock in training.

I think it’s a short discussion mate, especially as you can play three of them.

Doing that offers great versatility and options.
