Not remotely itk but was told the other week despite initial concerns he was ahead of schedule , this appears to confirm it .

I appreciate he has his detractors but I feel it’d Be a big boost to get him back .

Definitely back for the first game. Assuming we get a new starting right back in though, do you go with the future of O'Brien and Branthwaite, or stick with Tarkowski and Branthwaite?

If he's physically fit but hasn't played too many friendlies because he's still approaching full fitness, can see Moyes going with Jake the Snake, otherwise I think he'll go with the tried and tested JT & JB combo. Not sure how JoB would feel about that though given the crucial role he played the second half of last season.

In any case, options, and that's great.

If Keane's been given a contract, we aren't signing any more central defenders, and possibly be lucky to get any new fullbacks too.

I think we have missed an opportunity to prepare for Tarks transitioning out. Keane and him will be finishing at similar times and whilst I am more than happy with JB and JO’B we are lacking strength. Especially while RB and LB are so weak
