Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

It says a lot when I’d rather have Keane re-signing for us than us getting Kyle Walker. Can’t believe I’m actually happy about Burnley signing a player
Crazy isn't it. Tbf Keane apart that's a deal we would have done pre PSR wothout a doubt, asking him how much he wanted and then doubling it.

I take it naming MK as a turd you mean Michael Keane, as a Forum Supporter you should be ashamed of yourself calling one of our players a turd. I wander how you would feel if somebody called you that, The lad does not deserve that, he does not select the team.

christ mate are you ok

you do know people joke right?

i “wander indeed”

Close to Tagliafico.... APPARENTLY
People don’t want Harrison as a squad option.

Turned their noses up at the thought of Grealish.

Hate Coleman getting a 1 year extension to aid the transition to the new stadium/squad overhaul.

But are happy to sign a 32 year old left back who has no resale value?

For the record I like Tagliafico…

Surely resale value is less of an issue when they’re signing on a free?

People are like that regarding Harrison cause they've likely watched his very recent performances.

The same can be said regarding Grealish to a lesser extent. Although it must be said I'm an advocate of his on the right terms.

I'm pro Coleman and if I said what I thought of those who slander him getting a 1 year extension then I'd get banned.

Like you, I like Tagliafico. Where do I stand?

Tagliare is an Italian verb which generally means "to cut". People with that denomination in their name usually have a background in a "cutting" industry. Think along the lines of a tailor or a butcher.

Feel free to call him "the butcher".
He’s a cut above the rest… he’s a snip at that price… tailor made for a Moyes defence… looks sharp… I’ll get my coat

I’m not pro Harrison, but if Moyes sees the value in him I’ll trust his decision.

Yep, all of those things are true and none of them are contradictory. Harrison is basically a waste of space regardless of cost. Grealish is a good player but will cost much much more than he is actually worth. Coleman is too old, we can't postpone buying a decent right back forever. Players signed on frees don't need resale value.

In quicksand.

Whatever you think of Coleman and his contribution to Everton ( fantastic) . His performances and availability in the last 3 years do not justify a playing contract .

If you also think Harrison merit a contract at Everton on £100k a week there is little hope for you.
