No, that ignores both sets of regulations, England's PSR and UEFA's FFP.

They're both profit and loss measures, moving cash is a balance sheet transaction.

There isn't a scenario that both clubs come out ahead financially, at least not for 25/26 when we obviously need as much room as possible to build a squad.

That's 6 players, mostly who'll be first choice if decent, with approx 5 weeks to prep for an away game in front of Leeds who'll be bang up for it.

Fellows as a depth option would be great, especially if we have Barry on the pitch to latch onto crosses. What was the fee that we allegedly agreed on in summer? It was pretty low wasn’t it? Mad that he could be available for something like 12/15 (if I remember rightly???). Still, we probably need two wingers for that right side (or at least cover for both) and I’m also hoping we get some rapid, blammo scoring lad to go into the starting like up. Or McAtee hahaha
