Ahh you are forgetting the interest they had earned on it!!!RS have a net expenditure of 353m. Surely that must mean that the Coutinho money has just about been used up.

That’s far too sensible, and doesn’t allow for fume!I don’t think Wesley would get a work permit for the UK, but he would get one for Italy. If he goes to Italy for a season, he will have a better chance of getting a uk work permit next season.
We have seen before that we get linked with players when they are valued around £25m to £30m, we don’t sign them and they do a year at a top level club and are the valued at £55m to £60m. I think this is an investment long term.
Longstaff no thanks. The Danish CM is the obvious choice.

It’s nonsensical bedwetting let’s be honest here, they aren’t prioritising either club over the other ffs@BlueStevie35 what’s your issue?
How would you have any issue with that statement.
If we aren’t their top priority this isn’t going to work.
Why wouldn’t he get a work permit? He’s a full Brazilian international.

He'd deffo get a fast-tracked one if it was for one of the Sky teams.
I have no idea. Just think Longstaff is crap and he is a sub at Newcastle. Ndidi rejected us before and is almost 29 and has regressed.Danish player from Serie A, you say?
That worked out great last season...
I presume you've seen a lot of Genoa to say he's the obvious choice?
He has only played 2 games for Brazil, he’s still young and we are awful at getting work permits
a loan fee could offset most of the PSR/Amortisation hit, maybe its a case of they want the asset on Evertons books for future use/sale. Interesting to see how this plays out.The article is enough to give anyone a heart attack! Everton buy him then loan him to Roma?!
