Don’t we already have a striker in Beto that does the same thing? If you’re saying his hold up play is a bit pants then Beto is the same. The only difference is maybe his strike rate but in this league who knows. £30M plus is a lot for a similar striker to what we already have.

I didn’t say his hold up play was ‘a bit pants’, my point was his main attribute being able to play off the shoulder. I’ve not seen enough of him to say how good of an all rounder he is but he has the attributes to hold the ball up well with decent coaching. I get the similarity to Beto but not why that’s a huge issue.. if we are creating a team that focuses on getting to the byline and whipping crosses in for a striker then why buy a different type? Tall, pacy and aggressive. Nothing a defender hates more.

To be honest im not expecting any striker here to come in and get much North of 10-15 goals - i think if we have one that hits double digits we will be doing well. From memory of Moyes teams that will be the expectation of the forward in my opinion and wel build goals elsewhere

15 goals would be at the very top end of what we could expect imo.

If Beto and another could get 22-25 between them, it would be great.

Was that on one of your football manager saves? He's never scored 21 PL goals in a season. He scored 16 in a 21 goal season.
