Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

One-trick ponies aren’t inherently bad. It just depends on how good the trick is, and how injury prone the pony is.

A really good trick (probably out of our price range at the minute, though) is worth its weight in gold, but the trick mustn’t belong to someone with a bad injury record - else you’ll come to depend on it then lose it. Then be stuck.

Days??? More like years, and it was nothing to do with a brownhill link, because I don’t think he will be on Everton’s radar,
It was the fact about 30 fans on here thought he’d be a good signing and play regularly and you can add longstaff as well and hearing that he’d be our best midfielder

I want us to have high standards and hoping the new regime have them too. Also you don’t need to waste money on garbage like 30yr old brownhill and giving him a 3yr deal
That was my point, go and a loan a 30yr old for the season and save us about 10mil.
So loan a 30 year old each season and assume theres no loan fee and the parent club cover 100% of the wages? I am sure the calibre of player we could get would be of a good standard......

One trick pony reminds me of Bolasie and I'd hate to have a player like him (great guy, awful player) with us again.
A famous one trick pony was Arjen Robben - cutting in from the right, shooting / passing with his left foot - you knew it was coming most every time, but it was effective.

So, if they have a good trick that tends to work.....

If anyone is in any doubts about Evan Ferguson's issues. He's been partying it up with mcRapist and his drug dealing mates in Ibiza.

If you were trying to save your career with rumors of off field lifestyle issues why would post this stuff on your social media? Are instagram likes really worth it? At least if you’re gonna party do it out of the public eye.
