ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

No point in kidding ourselves, we don’t want to be like their fans as people, but on the pitch they are pushing onto another level again, especially if they get Isak.

That said, the games rigged so the big 6 can spend what they want.

We aren’t at the party and even if we do have a good season, the big 6 will just pick off our best players as we try to comply to PSR.

It’s not even sport anymore. It’s sports entertainment.

The last time so called 'sport' was so one sided is when the christians and the lions were on the bill every week.
It needs someone to step in and perform a serious reset before it eats itself.

Said it before but there are a dozen or so clubs across europe playing a completely different game to the rest. In terms of money, attention, influence over governance and rules, and relationships with the staff at fa's.

I truly, truly hope they leave and have their billions of pounds league soon, but uefa seem to have bent over backwards to let it happen via the back door in plain sight with CL changes, 9 PL teams in Europe (45% of the league!!) Etc.

A big factor for wirtz signing was he intends to improve his physical game he said we all know liverpool players are like machines. They don't even hide it anymore.

Is Guehi really that good? For the money they’ll end up dishing out? I think there’s a lot of players being overrated price wise in this window. This is a player who has only just established himself in an extremely poor England team with little competition at CB and stands out on occasion for Crystal Palace.
Worth £150m at least. The Cockney Branthwaite.

…..is the plan. There is only one club that would be worse as a destination. Having said that he may yet end up back at Chelsea. Either way, pretty sure he’ll be off.

Somewhat related, Alan, but I've just seen that you're lowering your demands for Eze? Apparently, you're even prepared to accept three instalments. Any insight?

No, not seen that. He’s in demand and has a weird clause in his contract where he can be bought at (c) £65m during a specific period within the transfer window and that opens shortly. I can’t think that instalments would benefit us, particularly as we have ant him to stay. Confirmation on European football (or not) next season would help.
