Crap rumour I know but I was told Josh Brownhill will be joining, not very exciting but what I was told

I don’t get this Solanke thing tbh. Went to Bournemouth, played 200 games for them and then they sold him for a £50 million profit.

At the time it was stand out ridiculous ( 21 games 1 goal ) as was Jordan Ibe.

He’s played plenty of games, more than O’Briden has, and he’s also made the England squad, that will bump it up.

On the contrary, I think Brownhill will be an excellent signing. It's about building a strong squad, not cherry picking overpriced, over the hill galacticos. Think about Peter Reid, Trevor Steven, Kevin Sheedy, Paul Bracewell, Tim Cahill, Seamus Coleman, Leighton Baines, Steven Pienaar, Lee Carsley et al. How many of those Everton legends were household names before they were part of our two most recent successful squads? I'd go so far as to say that in terms of effect, Brownhill will be akin to that of Tim Cahill.
