Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Those aren't the only two options, though, mate.

We've got a whole new team in charge of transfers, so they have to back themselves to identify and recruit good signings. Full-back has probably been our biggest problem position behind striker in recent seasons, so to see us sticking another plaster over it is a little disheartening.

Of course, we may sign some sexy young RB that can come up under the tutelage of Walker in which case it would look like markedly more inspired business.

why does it have to be a “sexy RB”?

Considering the majority of Moysie's signings have been a success, and that he doesn't want to sign players that will not improve the team overall, I'm quite happy to watch the merry-go-round and see who is thrown into Finch Farm.

I'm particularly looking forward to tomorrow's fixture-list publication. I will peruse it by the pool in our Cala Bona hotel, where myself and Mrs TT shall be for the next nine days.
Beautiful place. Spent many happy times at The Bonaire. Enjoy 😉 😉 😉

Oh God.

The "winner" narrative has started. The following is an inexhaustive list of apparent winners from our recent past:

Gibson
Cleverley
Rooney
Delph
Young
Lampard

Signing players who have won things with far, far, far better clubs when they were younger is absolutely zero guarantee of them being any use for us whatsoever.

Every single time haha

Leeds have already put a bid in for Diarra from Strasbourg, who was apparently one of our big targets.
Everyone we are linked with are now have actual bids in from other places. Clauses are being triggered and we are just sat there with half a squad wondering about finished pensioners from City, who are after one last payday.
Even the players we want to keep (Gueye) are getting better offers from elsewhere. All this time David Moist OMG is fannying around like he did last time.
We will be down to a few loans and whoever is left for free in the last week of the window again.

There are time to wet the bed, and a time not to.

THIS IS NOW THE TIME TO SOAK THE BEDSHEETS!!!!
Hey captain flop sweat , thankfully the summer transfer window isnt like a game of child's kickball where after all the skilled players are picked for trans you're left with dweebs and duds , this game of football is played around the world with a myriad of possible players to recruit. Also its the league's archaic psr rules on why we can't start spending funds until July has nothing to do with Moyes

I suspect that it may be a little like Dominoes. Get some Frees in and then determine the priority as to where we need to spend this years money. Loans at the end of the window to supplement.
Free’s don’t tend to be early especially to Everton. These free transfers can sit till August and see what’s out there

Do you have any idea what Everton are actually doing? Do you have any idea who Everton are actually talking too?

Or are you throwing all your toys out of the pram on the basis of gossip tales of other clubs?

Its summer, the weather is lovely. Pour a glass of something cold and enjoy it. Forget about Everton and live the moment
