Transfer Rumour Kyle Walker

Possibly but not better players than Walker who is available and, if rumours are true, would want to come here.

Kyle Walker Peters is on a free for example. Is he better than Walker? Could we get both?

Then depends on what Moyes wants. If he wants that experience or not.

Mate this is 2025 Kyle Walker we’re talking about here. The attribute that single handedly hauled him up to the level where a club like City would want him, has gone and is never coming back.

Genuinely what else is he good at? He can’t defend, can’t cross, is quite scarily one footed, is positionally terrible, prone to daydreaming and lapses in concentration. His recovery pace to get him out of problems that he created for himself was his biggest selling point.

He had an awful loan spell mate ....

We need players but he's certainly not the profile we'd hope for. Great experience of winning trophies, and has been a great player for city, but he's an aging player with a career in decline. I'm sure he could fill a gap for us, much like Ashley Young did, but I'd hoped for a young hungry player.

The more this keeps coming up, the more I think it’s nonsense from his agent or Manchester City trying to offload him and generate interest. Everton need a right back, and Moyes was interested when he was young. It’s an easy story to tell.

I think the most honest thing in the story is that “Walker agreed,” but not with Everton. He’s given the green light to a move if Everton wanted him.

Think bit of both can see us asking like other players in that position as looks like the club is going after a rb. Will be the same with other players on a free with the amount of players we need the club will be talking to alot of clubs and players.

Even tho Walkers legs have gone, he’s still faster than any full hack we have at the club. He’s also very experienced, and he’s come from a very successful team. He can also play centre back. It’s a yes from me for a year or 2.

Wonder will we sign to right-fulls one older and one younger and let the two percolate for a year of two.

The younger could be Patterson - but id be surprised if his goose want cooked with Moyes after Ipswich at home.

Also if there is a plan for Doak (or another young player), i can see some logic in having experience behind him if he's going to tog out year 1 in the PL on that right flank.

I agree. Moyes has plugged leaks, although that doesn't necessarily mean leaks are plugged at the players end.
