Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

GK: Pickford, Tyrer
DF: Patterson, O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko
MF: Armstrong, Iroegbunam, Garner, Gana
AM: Ndiaye, McNeil, Alcaraz
CF: Beto, Chermiti

16 players?

I dont think we will or could afford to sell.

However, as always it depends on the replacement(s).
Gana hasn't signed yet and I don't think most people consider Tyrer to be a first team squad member. So 14, really.

You keep saying its been posted 1000s of times but ive been on this forum for years and never seen any proof this was the case.

So unless you want to show me proof that happened then thelwell signed maupay, end of.

Use the search function.

It's not anyone else's job to find information for you thats been discussed for literally years.

Clue: Try typing Thelwell Maupay Bobble and hey presto

I would have expected the players we wanted to retain have their contract sorted out by latest the following week at season end. We have psr room for another one signing at least, and this is the best time to take advantage of clubs that need to sell before July 1st....
What do you think they just forgot about sending out contract offers or something?

As is said countless times during transfer season, we know absolutely nothing about anything, so there's no point having an imaginary argument with Everton about it.

I like the sound of Man Citys James Smith -- the director of scouting and recruitment -- joining which i think was mentioned in the athletic. He'll have global contacts of players City would be focused on but perhaps we'd have more interest in signing.

The interesting thing with this i-news article is the mentioning of McAtee.

Hmm. Debatable stuff in there. Hasn’t got the allowed loan quotas right and Branthwaite hasn’t 'fallen down the England pecking order' so much as has never really been given a go and has been injured 🤷

Lets not split hairs. McAtee how much would he cost?

A lot. Not sure where we'd play him - particularly if they want Grealish too. Good players all, but we need pace in these positions too.

Everyone likes the look of McAtee but where would he play? As a left footer cutting in Is he that much of an improvement on McNeil? Could he play the second striker role? not sure if he is robust enough. He has all the makings certainly but he won't come her to play 2nd fiddle.

Faster, can beat a man and can use his right foot
Don't know about set piece delivery which McNeil is pretty good at tbf
