Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

It's the only way they can get players in, pay over the odds on price and wages. That unsettling tactic rarely works and just gets under the skin of everyone involved, totally classless. The end result is they get a team or individual mercenaries who are only there for their retirement wages, which is exactly why they are a shambles at the moment. Long may it continue.
Think it’s hilarious that they tried to leverage our financial situation to get JB for buttons and now they’re desperately trying to sell players to fix their own. Hope it explodes in their face tbh but admit that players like Chuna and Mbeumo are good signings for them instead of the likes of Ugarte, Hojlund and whatever other overhyped hipster players they’ve bought recently

Anyway, who we signing

Their 2 generation glory support is about to expire. They will quickly drop in terms of wealth and become a monolith unless they do something spectacular- they’ve been left trailing by the other big clubs and their fans will soon do one
Yep I’m mid 30s living down south and loads of their glory hunting fans ‘just enjoy watching football’ now and pay more attention to ‘the big game’ than following United

If it wasn’t for the abysmal three promoted teams last season they would’ve been in a genuine relegation fight but I expect them to spend loads and be top half next season minimum, they have to or they’ll fall away completely

Yep, they are in MASSIVE trouble as far as big club terms go. In huge danger of becoming fallen giants like a certain club we all love.

Noticed tyrick Mitchell's contract from crystal palace is set to expire unless there was something I missed about him resigning. I think he's been a solid left back for them the past couple of seasons, would be a smart signing to create depth at lb and have a more attacking player that could start despite mykolenko improving his attacking skills over the final stretch of games this season.

Chelsea and United in the top 5 for being "healthiest" PSR wise. Burn it down, it's obviously not fit for purpose.

Thought I'd post it in this thread cause there's been a lot of chatter in here about our PSR position changing. I guess it is relevant to transfers after all?

it’s utter lies mate innit

proper joke
