Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The high line and Spurs finished below us, I know they will be a CL club, but it’s to sideways if a move fir him between our project and Spurs to interest him.

Levy won’t pay that sort of fee either in my opinion, be another exercise in low balling.
Not saying we are his ticket but he has to look at the bigger picture.
Going to a team who are in the CL NEXT season only.
Spurs would have to improve by going up 12 positions in the league to get CL football the following year, it would be so short sighted

Also there left sided centre back is Van Der Ven

Agreed mate, the next level for him, is competing for trophies and playing in the CL, if he’s not going to get a move like that fir a fee we are willing to accept - he’s as well to stay here and try and continue to raise his profile by getting him into Europe.

The England thing is frustrating.

Maybe mate, the deals seem a bit coincidental to me, Brentford and them seem to have a good relationship.

Both of them publicly declared their love for the xG model, to mixed results. Remember Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing and Andy Carroll? Brentford have been much more successful with it tbf.

I quite like the idea of Matt O’Riley (yes, Oh Riley I do).
Was awesome at Celtic and for Denmark, never quite fit into things at Brighton.

Would depend on how much Brighton want for him. There might be better value out there if the price is too high, but would be great in the Doucoure/Garner role as a box-to-box.
Brightons model is to sell high.

Seems like a deal that won’t be priced right for us (and we probably know that).
