Tuchel would absolutely overlook Branthwaite for Trevoh Chalobah without batting an eyelid btw.

….he’d probably think he’ll simply get more game time at Everton.

I definitely wouldn’t assume Tarkowski’s continued robustness. The fact he’s had an operation on that hamstring will be a major concern going forward, the rest of his career could easily be stop/start. Major plus is O’Brien, he could be a starting CB, especially if we acquire a RB.

I’d like to see us move for Esteve regardless tbh, he’s a good player.

However it’s not impossible to predict some sort of scenario that sees City take Branthwaite off us and send Stones our way, we plough the cash into Burnley for Esteve, Keane finds his way back to Burnley.

City have LOADS of central defenders. They won’t be spending their money on Branthwaite.

Old, injured, past his best massively high wages which would smash our wage structure to smithereens. As would Grealish, makes no sense to even link us, bored with it tbh. Would love Everton to go to the South American market, there are bargains to be had ask Brighton, Brentford, look at Alcaraz.
