Right now what is our plan B if McNeil and/or N'Diaye are injured.

We’ve had our best spell in years with McNeil out. Mc Neill should be the backup, and get someone better in.

We need better than decent he would cost us 30mil in fee’s amd wages and is 28. We need much better to kick on. Teams like Bournemouth and Brighton wouldn’t want him, never mind the likes of Villa. If he was any good he’d already be in the prem

If he was that good, he’d have been in the prem or gone abroad to a much bigger team in a bigger league years ago. He’s 28 soon and not had a sniff of the Dutch team at look at some of the crap that’s played for them

Well, last year in the premier league he had 4 goals and 7 assists. Better than any of our CMs have been. He may not be amazing, but he may be a capable PL player.

Plays internationally for Serbia’s u-19s. He’s a unit as well (6ft 4)

Agreed, same applies to both full back roles. Should we lose Gana then CM goes into crisis mode too. Keane goes and Branthwaite succumbs to a big offer....Our biggest issue is scoring goals so players who get assists are a premium for us. Wether thats in the form of a pacey winger or a midfield creator - either (or both) would be good. and, then there is the actual goalscorer.

Club and team seem both very optimistic and very scary at the same time just now.

It's really weird - he looks total Sunday league, but can pass well, manoeuvre well with his low centre of gravity, and seems to be able to find some turbo gear from somewhere and power past his opponents too...
Maybe not a bad back-up if cheap and low-ish wages imo.

That’s my thoughts - if the attacking midfield will be N’Diaye, Alcaraz and a new right winger, then having Hamer on the bench or as a rotation would be a real nice option

I’m pretty sure mcneil provided the assist for the winner against Nottingham forest and scored against Ipswich

That’s 4 points there in recent memory he’s earned for us

I don't know much about him, but can't he play deeper than that? That would make him a midfield Harper-type go-to, which might be useful for our squad rebuild focus.
