Will keep my thoughts on Merseyside Police to myself until we have more information. But I was driving down Leeds St earlier parallel to thousands of fans. Surely there needs to be more done with road closures in town for big events like this.
From where the car comes from could possibly have been there before the closuresAbsolutely.
Where the incident has happened, you can easily divert traffic via Exchange St and back down Tithebarn st too.
Whilst I agree with your point, the uncomfortable truth is that there is only so much you can do to prevent such attacks, if this does turn out to be one. Will keep my thoughts on Merseyside Police to myself until we have more information. It’s getting impossible. Xmas markets in Birmingham had the ram barriers all over the place, I was shocked when I first saw it. But to try and lock down a whole city centre with hundreds of thousands of pedestrians? No idea how they combat this. Will keep my thoughts on Merseyside Police to myself until we have more information. But I was driving down Leeds St earlier parallel to thousands of fans.
