This little divvy hasn't played a single minute of Marseille's last three games, and only played around 120 minutes across their last 10 matches. They must be gutted there obligated to pay us for him soon.
Where did we sign N'Diaye from?Where is the Maupay money?
The best I can find is that (1) the obligation to buy was "£4.6million plus £2.5million in add-ons," and (2) recent reports indicate that De Zerbi wants to sell him this summer. So I reckon the money has to come in soon, right, in time to add to the transfer budget?
Same club, Marseille. Why?Where did we sign N'Diaye from?
reckon the clubs might just knock one fee off the other?Same club, Marseille. Why?
Makes sense. Them poor Marseillasers can at least have the luxury that money actually changed hands.reckon the clubs might just knock one fee off the other?
I reckon they've already flogged him, to someone like leicester. he's shown himself up in the PL, the social media stuff screams he requires a good hiding. but a team full of bad attitudes could well fit him.Makes sense. Them poor Marseillasers can at least have the luxury that money actually changed hands.
Question from a French friend. If you have a obligation to buy, even of you stump up the fee, do you have to give a contract to the player you bought?
I think under normal circumstances the sale isn't deferred to the end of the player's existing contract, so this is an odd case. However, it's certainly true in this case because the agreement wasn't just a deferred obligation, but includes a sell-on clause. I imagine this was a three part negotiation between Marseille, Everton and Maupay's agent, and he'd have already agreed to the terms that would follow the loan.Makes sense. Them poor Marseillasers can at least have the luxury that money actually changed hands.
