Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

They played it during the Cape Town Sale Sharks game I went to when I was in South Africa, and all the crowd were joining in. It was most unexpected at the time but it makes sense now. This live version from Paris is one of my favourite live performances of any song. AT may enjoy this.

They may well have been singing the South African rugby version which is based on their controversial, but very successful, Director of Rugby , Rassie Erasmus …..and as I’m sure you can guess goes “ Rassie,…Rassie, … Rassie.”

Morning all, sounds like a really eventful weekend. I hope Fred and Anj get over any aches and pains . We’re all getting too old to ‘bounce’ back up like we did when younger. Anyway have a great day. I have to stand in for one of the dominoe players at the pub later tonight as one is on holiday; and I’ve got two ladies coming around later this afternoon to check that Kay can manage the grab rails etc that we had fitted. It’s no wonder that after a full day looking after Kay that I feel permanently tired. Hopefully I can get an hours sleep before today starts again proper….

Good morning all on this beautiful day here ,a little drizzle last night all over the logs that were chopped ,I did put a sheet over them so here's to hoping they are not so bad .
I hope the treatment room occupants all have a good day and a special one to Pete as it is so tiring .
Great to see Spurs beat Utd just for Ritchie ,he looked really slow when he ran I thought ,we don't need him back .
Have a great day all and mind those bodies ! COYB

Hello all. I've just seen this pic of my favourite Everton player ever and felt compelled to share it. He's aged so well, still gorgeous at 74.
Did any of you see the clip of Duncan McKenzie going to the touchline to hug Joe Royle? I thought that was so nice.View attachment 309267
In my teens I used to roll all my sleeves up on my shirts including when I was playing football , so I was delighted when I realised Joe Royle had copied me 😂. A wonderful player in a wonderful team ………but the Golden Vision still wins as favourite Everton player.

For me it has to be Bally ,love for the team, club and the way he used to sit on the ball waiting to be tackled .

The Golden Vision was my Dad's favourite too. He would often say nobody will ever be as good as Alex Young

One of my favourite “ Goodison Memories” is Bally coming back from injury against Newcastle and thumping a 30 yarder into the Gwladys Street net. For some reason I was in the top balcony that game, dead in line behind it as it flew in. A crap game apart from that goal, 1971 I think.

I have been thinking about @Terrarian and his post this week and I truly believe he is entitled to benefits , I watched Simon Reeve and he said that 1 in 10 of the working population in the UK is on a sickness payment ! Is that accurate ? If that is true how is that sustainable ?
Morning, I do get limited capacity for work payments, I just don't get PIP, so I'm not on basic benefits completely. I'm sure Starmer will be gunning for me soon enough. I'm already on tenterhooks whether or not I will have these payments stopped. I can't work it's physically and mentally just not an option. I wish I could work trust me.

Hope everyone is well, I have a stonker headache again, pretty fed up with them and they've really affected me mentally. I don't have the strength for this much longer.
