EFC out of contract players Summer 2025

Which players out of contract in the Summer do you want kept on?

  • Coleman

  • Doucoure

  • Gueye

  • Keane

  • Young

coleman and young should both be let go at RB

coleman kept on in some capacity i imagine but it shouldn’t be as a player

we have OBrien currently as a starting RB, but hopefully we’re signing someone too

Theres quite a few like Walker Peters, Lamptey and Coufal all available on a free too

Would prefer Dixon to be promoted to cover over the pensioners, and Patterson will also likely still be at the club too

Dixon isn't good enough in my humble opinion...I'd prefer us to go into the market for 2 new RBs.

Not seen enough of him but I’d imagine he would of got some minutes if he was even close to being good enough instead of playing a 6ft 5 cb there even tho O brien did a decent job there. Got to be a priority in the summer.

….i’d be amazed if he’s offered another deal, I think the indication was he’d be available for the last season at Goodison.

I suppose then it’s largely down to him what happens next. I’m certain he’d be offered a coaching job here or he might be looking to try his hand at management somewhere. Wouldn’t surprise me if he ultimately ends up Managing ROI, apparently he’s hugely respected by their FA.
 

The more players we resign who can add to the team, Young Gana and DCL amongst others even Doucoure the more we have to spend on quality additions. Imagine 3 40 million signings or 10 12 million signings.

I find it very hard to get excited about the club going and making some big money signings based on the last decade where we accumulated some bang average or injury prone players on big wages that we couldn`t sell on. I imagine us signing 3 40million players and at least two of them won`t work out, and if it was 10 12 million signings at least 4 would be pants, 4 wouldn`t put the effort in when the going gets though and 2 would be crocks.

Very underwhelming. There has to be better utility players available on a free in the summer that have more motivation, appetite and ability than Young. He'll be 40 years of age and he's been offered another contract with a premier league team. Not the mentality of a top club in any capacity.
