They don’t really need someone to push Pickford to be honest, his form has been good without that so there’s no need to spend actual money bringing someone like that in now. Just get someone who won’t be a disaster if they need to play on a free and spend money elsewhere.

Yeah same, he surprised me in the couple of games he played but I’m far from convinced he’s actually a good keeper.

Hopefully means that we have an experienced back up in mind (or maybe already agreed) and one of the young lads that have been out on loan can step up to the senior squad.
