I think everyone just wants to be negative about Moyes the years of failure is stinking the place out.
You are right. The years of Moyes failure is stinking the place out. New manager please!

Yeah think it would be a step too far for him, he’s a decent championship footballer and that’s it really.Love it when we get real insight, from those that have seen such players in the flesh. The time to get him was when Derby had a car boot sale under Rooney and they lost their best players at a pittance. Huge leap from championship to prem for a lot of players, so your feedback gives me visions of Flynn Downes (moyes last £15m midfield gamble from the championship!)
Not asking much then.If every single player on our books next year isn’t young, dynamic, progressive, exciting, sought-after, pacy, creative, and versatile… then it’s gonna be embarrassing.
Not just you, I don't get all the love for him either. He's the elevator music of Everton midfielders, he doesn't do anything very badly but he's not actually very good at anything either. He's just,........there.Is it just me or is there others who think Garner is bang average?
There are always exceptions to the rule but I'm very wary of players who have played that much at a lower level without anybody ever taking the plunge on them - particularly when they have actually moved clubs in that time without stepping up.Yeah think it would be a step too far for him, he’s a decent championship footballer and that’s it really.
I posted a few days ago when he was mentioned, he’s played a huge amount of games for his age, and is club captain. Great engine on the guy and is rarely injured… if ever.
I like Knight, but I would want much better in Everton’s midfield.

Mate I appreciate what you're saying but to suggest us signing Soucek and keeping Doucoure as one of the biggest mistakes the club has ever made is outrageous.Or, we base it on the previous:
We have a history of making awful footballing and transfer decisions.
Moyes has a history of making bad signings post us and paying big fees for very average footballers.
That is not a combination to inspire faith and also gives you a fair indication of the MO of both.
My only hope is that TFG stand up to Moyes and invest in a lot of young international talent and sanction very few big money functional PL player type signings for them.
Am genuinely only interested in winning football.Traditionally the Everton way too? Of course 'good football' is subjective and there will be differing views on how exactly the team should play, but I think it's fair to assume that having players with good technical attributes all over the pitch will be pretty much universally accepted as being a good thing.
I agree and have said as much elsewhere, but there aren't many teams who win stuff without having a squad full of good technical players and there are good, and fairly self explanatory, reasons for that.Am genuinely only interested in winning football.
Not interested in it being easy on the eye.
Yeah not saying he's a bad player. Just don't want us to be spending ridiculous money on himHe is 5 years younger, than our current best midfielder.
He is a good footballer that is more than just a long ball merchant, he is all action all round midfielder that this is a 10-15 goal contribution player most seasons.
3 year deal on around te Doucs money is standard for a good prem player.
I want us ot sign good youngsters too....but the reality is we need good experience players that can perform from day 1.
Would love Rigg too btw, and Sam Field.
These along with a soucek would be perfect blend.
I am also only interested in winning football, but somehow I have ended up supporting Everton.Am genuinely only interested in winning football.
