No ticket for me unfortunately but I’ll be there on the day, don’t care where anyone else thinks of it. Yes I can go and see Goodison the very next day but it won’t be surrounded by 10s of thousands of fans. It’ll be the final time we’ll experience pre match excitement at the old girl, the crowds outsides the pubs, the badge and scarf stalls, the programme sellers, the queues outside the chippies etc etc. It’s all going. I will not be missing the opportunity to soak all of that in for one last time.

UTFT!!!
No ticket for me either but I was going to come up from Sidcup on Saturday for the weekend. Sadly have had to cancel those plans but will be watching the game with a beer or six from the sofa.

Maybe. Saw a few here mentioning it's possibly next season's kit but havnt bothered read anything about it since as it looks horrendous
For me, they miss a trick with this. Last home game and last away game is an opportunity to wear next seasons kit. It'd get the fans excited about it and give them the chance to sell kits right through the close season. Nobody's going to be buying this seasons stuff through the summer.

On this occasion I don’t think next season’s kit would be appropriate. Never in our history have two seasons been separated by such a chasm - the very old and the very new. Everything new, including next seasons kit, should be kept for BMD.

If the clubs old regime couldn’t get their act together to make a commemorative kit for the last game at Goodison (and it looks likely they didn’t) then I’d stick with our regular kit.

Really looking forward to this and going to be wishing time away at work this week. All I've really had to look forward to football wise since about January.

Obviously means nothing to us compared to you lot but as I've said before Goodison is my favourite ground in the country and it'll be class to be part of it's final hurrah albeit sad to see it go.

As for the actual game then I think it depends almost entirely on the first 15 minutes or so. If you start well and get an early goal then we'll collapse and you'll ease to a 4/5 nil win. Whereas if it stays tight and 0-0 for a while I can see it becoming bit of a nothing game and your players will start having loads of shots from distance trying to get in the record books.

Would love for us to spoil your party with a shithouse 1-0 but have no expectations.

We won the last game at Maine Road and while they weren't the last games we were the last teams to win at Roker Park and WHL so it'd be nice to add another bit of history to that.
Not forgetting Everton pissed on our centenary parade in 1985 so we owe them one (not that I’m one to bear grudges)
