I don't see him as a 10, and would be more intrigued to see us go for more of a 433 with pair of 8s with Charly taking one of those positions. It would give more license for McNeil and Ndiaye to get in and around the box to support the centre forward.

Thought he was MOTM in the second half today. He sees space, so few of our players do that.
Thought he moved infield when N'Diaye and McNeil came on.
WE should put those three in front of Garner and Gana whenever we are away - frightening skills on the break... imagine if we had a pace player too...

He was excellent today, Fulham looked good for the first half hour, but after that we bullied them in midfield and had so much more energy and urgency. Alcaraz gave us that little bit of class, he is aggressive, two footed, tidy on the ball and can really pick a pass. Beto especially looks far more dangerous when Alcaraz plays.

Actually reminds me a bit of Muhamed Bešić. Not sure if it’s because he’s pretty brave, has a bit of snide about him and I want him to do well.

Alvarez is much more talented though.

His desire and aggression won the corner for the second goal and also had a set to with Sessegnon who wasn’t happy at ending up the pitch side hoardings.

I love how well he breaks. When he gets the ball he immediately pushes it forward with great pace and urgency and then immediately looks to make the pass and put someone in. Strikers love a player like him in the middle.

Quick question: Did his folks forget to add an 'e' to his first name when signing his birth certificate? As in 'Charley'? Or is that intentional?
I'm assuming his name is pronounced 'Charlie'?

Did brilliantly today on the ball, but what will turn Moyes head is his work off the ball today, he put in a great shift pressing and working off the ball, Mykos goal came from a phase of play where Charly won the ball - Moyes will love that.
