2024/25 David Moyes

Well Alcaraz and N'diaye along with McNeil all played together and we won well, that's five goals in two games, not bad is it, maybe Moyes will see the light.

…I’m not sure Ndiaye and McNeil were even on the pitch for our opening goal today. Of course we all want to see good footballers but we were impotent against Ipswich last week, apparently the worst XG of any team they’ve faced all season.

Fingers crossed they can gel, thought Alcaraz was good today.

XG :) I know what I like to see good footballers who can , control and pass a ball, dribble and create goals, that's what I was brought up on. Doucoure works hard and scores the odd goal, but he is like a human wall, the ball just bounces off him, he is terribly frustrating to watch. Alcaraz works hard, not as hard as Doucoure, but a lot more with the ball, can control it, run with it and pass it, I want to see more goals off him. We have the chance to see a more fluid, passing and moving Everton team, with McNeil, N'diaye and Alcaraz behind the faster Beto and a chance to see more goals and get rid of the 28% possession stats and no shots of Dyche, but it will take time to gel, in other words it won't be done in one or two games.

I dunno, you seemed to be happy watching utter yard dogs launching it 90 yards under the ‘third best manager we’ve ever had’.
