A major overhaul is always risky as you have a bedding in period and players adapting to how the manager (assuming Moyes is staying?). I genuinely think the gap between the championship and the premier league has never been bigger though so you've kind of got that safety blanket of not having to worry about relegation
Hamer is definitely an odd shaped footballer. He can shift though. Pretty quick and very skilful

Haven't watched enough of him to make a personal judgement but to play devil's advocate, Kristiansen did play most of last season in a very good Bologna team that finished 5th in Serie A. That team only conceded 32 goals all season.
