2024/25 Nathan Patterson

Some of the comments are great to be honest

Anyway, he should get away as there's a chunk of the fanbase that hates him based on nothing, but adores players who were in a similar positions and underperformed even worse, in a team that wasn't in several relegation fights in a row. He'll likely improve, even more so under Moyes, but at this point he's the most scrutinised player we've had for a while for just about no reason other than some preconceived notion.

Could be a market for him in the summer, Thelwel gone to Rangers and Lampard at Coventry.

Either would be a good move for him and for his sake he needs it developmentally if he's going to have a decentish career.

…a player who struggles to defend will do so regardless of the level, Thelwell will surely know how poor he is but we can but hope.

I think the best we can do with him would be to loan him out for a season and hope he does well that way.

If Moyes persists with him in the next few games, there may be hope for him as Moyss may think he can get to work on his defensive flaws over the summer.

If he's dropped and Young or Coleman come in against Fulham, I'd say that's him done.

We are getting toward stick of twist with him mate, he has two years to run on his deal this summer, so we shouldn't let him enter his final year so we may get 5 mill for him - if we loan him for a year it could be with an obligation. I don't think he's breaking the glass ceiling here with us - he's almost 24 - he isnt a young prospect anymore.

The lad himself needs to take a step back at Coventry or somewhere to take a step forward - if he's ever going to.

Its not going to happen for him here, so the only game in town is try and get a few bob back on him.

In the unlikely event of an offer coming in for him, we should take it regardless of the amount. A new RB or JOB shifting back there with a new CB has to happen, unfortunately he's not good enough, end of.
