2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

He has to be professional, can't go round slagging people off. I'm not worried if he stays or not. But as I said before we need a lot of other players including a striker. So saves us buying 2.

If we keep DCL get a first choice strikers like Delap. Richie on loan and suddenly we look a lot stronger. We can consider selling Beto and let Chermiti go on loan.

No.

I have no problem with him not wanting to sign an extension when we were a financial mess and had Dyche as manager and it makes sense he’d look at the current situation and have a different feeling

None of that changes the fact he’s rubbish at scoring goals and always injured though so I’d let him leave.
In his last four seasons he has scored 17 in 89 games. Less than one in five.
Five of those 17 goals were penalties.
12 non penalty goals from 89 games from the man wearing our number nine shirt.

Shake hands and part ways.

Its a no brainer really economically. He will get a 5-6 mill salary on a three year deal prob with an option.

If we went to the market we aren't getting a striker worthy of the name for a 20 mill fee (Hello Neal Maupay) and then the 5/6mill in wages anyway.

Look at the economy pf the Beto and Chermitti deals - im not Doms biggest fan - but ultimately its the best thing for the club - if we can negotiate it.

I also think if Dom sings Beto goes and another comes in.

Its the right time to sell Beto - his profile wont get higher.
Is his voice that bad?
