Media bias towards certain clubs

Moyes really should be questioning the journalist though. The last 2 press conferences have been a shambles with reporters asking about Salah and VVD.
Whole episode is a joke really, an Everton correspondent (if it was Myers) should know better than to ask, the club should set the ground rules and Moyes could / should have shut it down, but tbf to him I guess he has to be a bit careful not to come across a bit sensitive, so the best / most suitable answer to shut it down without coming across as a nark probobly isn’t as easy off the cuff.
If he’d have answered with ‘has he signed for Everton then?’ or something similar might have done it but easier in hindsight than being asked out the blue I guess.
Wonder when the last time Slot was asked about an Everton player in presser unrelated to a Derby 🙄

The BBC one was the worst regarding Salah. I think Moyes had already been asked twice about Salah signing a new deal and the he just then asks exactly the same question and then another one on top of it

Shows you how thick they are that they have their own pre made questions and when it's already been answered, they don't have the ability to think of something else to ask and just ask the same question anyway.

Your right in not wanting our manager to look sensitive but after that press conference about Salah, Everton, media team and Moyes should have made it clear to say "do us a favour, don't be asking ridiculous questions about that lot which has absolutely zero to do with us, otherwise tou won't like the answer I'll give".

Next question (which might come next week) will be "what do you think of Liverpool winning the title".

If he doesn't get a question about them, he'd be better finishing off with "any questions you want me to answer this week about Liverpool, as you all seem unhealthily obsessed by them". Turn it on them to show how pathetic they've been.

Jim Beglin is my hated pundit ,he is the best at explaining where we go wrong but only after the incident .
That seems to be the job of these ex player`s that make careers as tv pundits. They`re just there to fill in the gaps before and after the game. The one that switched me off listening to the supposed endless footballing knowledge was Andy Gray when he was on sky.

SKY are like a Pig in muck today.... wall to wall RS Kopites.

Is Bournemouth v Man Utd game still going ahead? You wouldn`t think so... SKY have all their wet dreams in one day today.

And agree with others on here the media narrative does affect refereeing standards towards certain clubs.

Guardian today ''
The joy around Anfield before and after the match on Sunday was a sight to behold, but it also has to be remembered that it is only half the city.
One taxi driver said that many of his Everton-supporting friends had gone away for the day.
Another said he had already booked a break in the Lake District in anticipation of the expected parade on 26 May, the day after the last league game of the season.
“This is hell on earth for me,” he said of ferrying Liverpool fans from the city centre to Anfield. “I certainly won’t be doing any driving after the match finishes.” ''
Absolute puke fest for the next 48 hours .
