I don’t blame the goal on Pickford at all. I would’ve blamed him if a goal resulted from that poor punch out.

His ball the Beto wasn‘t top class, but all came together then bad positioning play a striker almost as isolated as under Dyche and poor control

I just dont understand the hate from some. He's just not that bad, the way some carry on. Dont get the blame some of you seem to be giving him for the goal today - odd for me. Beto should hold the ball better which is the problem. but then again i didnt expect anything different And yes hes made errors but a lot less than some of you carry on like

The problem today was not Beto or Pickford it was why there was nobody between our center forward and our center halves to make a challenge when Chelsea won the ball.
I`m not a big fan of Pickford, mainly down to how he does n`t command his 6 yard box and fails to deal with crosses. One thing that used to bother me as well was when he would make a good save but parry the ball back into the danger area, which is something he doesn`t do anymore, the two good saves he did today were evidence of that.

Second only to Southall for me, that's not that bad is it

I am glad we have England’s #1 as our keeper despite some flaws in the air. But Southall was a generational unafraid unforgiving force in goal.

I like those videos where our players are asked to give a one word response to other Everton players. Consistently for Pickford the response is he’s mental .

I've noticed this about him before he seems to lie down rather than dive like their keeper did for the Mcneil chance. Nearly cost us another goal as well by doing what he always does and pushes a relative simple save straight back out into the danger area. I'm not saying he's a bad keeper I just think there's better and he's what Neville said about him. Average

Speaking of the McNeil chance, if he angled himself to the right that’s a goal all day long. Also another reason to not have double left footed McNeil on the right. He’s hard-wired for the left.

Pickford is if we are real is better than average. not many agree with Southall. Ive said it i think to you and whoever else. just because southall said it does not mean he is right. no matter how good he was. Same way as i dont agree with you and you dont agree with me or whatever. the forum is all about opinions

same way people say there is better keepers we can get, yet never name someone we can actually get
