Why would anyone care what someone from another country thinks about who you vote for?

Because other countries pay the price for the ineptness and outright idiocy of the American administration. Cosying up to the like of Putin, whilst denigrating long time allies of America - that is why people care.

Why would anyone care what someone from another country thinks about who you vote for?

Because other countries pay the price for the ineptness and outright idiocy of the American administration. Cosying up to the like of Putin, whilst denigrating long time allies of the America - that is why people care.

Perhaps build a stronger national defense, fully self-fund all NATO obligations(that were agreed upon when joining), and don't tariff the US higher than they tariff you, enforce your own border policies, etc....

There seems to be a lack of self-reflection while the US is trying to pull away from globalism and to a more isolationist strategy. The US isn't doing itself any favors in certain areas, but the focus is inward not outward.

I would imagine there are a lot of people in the UK who wish immigration would be addressed, and all the nonce gangs too.

Nobody trusts anything America says anymore. Cast your mind back to when America guaranteed Ukraine's independence in return for giving up nuclear weapons. How's that going ? Start a war in a foreign country – drag allies into it – cause mass death and destruction, triggering a humanitarian crisis – pull out and leave the region to deal with the aftermath - Repeat.
