You right. Honestly I can see Dom working better as a foil than a goalscorer. I wouldn't see it being a long term option unless it worked out absurdly well, but Fellaini worked wonders for Moyes up top. Dom has a fair bit more mobility so it would be interesting.

I was a fan of Dom before this season. He just hasn't progressed the way I'd hoped, but I absolutely agree with you there. Beto would be a much more interesting and probably better partner for Dom. He doesn't even need to weight his passes perfectly as Beto wins some pretty ridonculous 50 50's on through balls.

Neither are good enough to be a first choice striker here, so wasting 2 positions on them is madness.

He's going to newcastle for free isn't he, as part of reparations with fans for flogging Isac for big numbers. They'll then go and sign Ekitike just to pish me off. They'll be shearer and Ferdinand refound.
It's a shame he got injured just as Moyes arrived, with us playing further up the pitch he'd not have been anything like as isolated.

Seems he wants pastures new, his mate gordon is there, they'll shell out a load for new players this summer, will they make Europa type qualification this season? the notts forest wheels seem to have stopped turning. And there is the fa cup to decide. And this weekends final.

DCL has shown over an 8 year period and multiple managers that he cannot score regularly and his finishing is turd .

The only time he done well was when he had one of if not the best manager of all time and one of the best number 10’s in the world supplying him with 6 years tap ins during the weirdest season in football history because of Covid … and that was 5 years ago

Dom seems cool enough a lad, but at this point in his career, given his injuries and drop off in goal scoring, I can’t see him boosting a club and their success.
