If next month 777 decide to pull out and Moshiri refuses to fund the club how long does it take to go into administration? Feels like we’re living month to month

It would be more a case of that Moshiri can’t fund the club mate I.e. he can’t afford it. If it goes into administration he essentially just walks away from everything he’s ever put in and sets the club on fire.

You see clubs like Leeds have in the past sold for for £1. That’s because they leave behind loads of debt for the next owners. But a PL club, its generating power and assets will be attractive if going for £1.

Moshiri isn’t at the point that he wants to sell us fr a £1 yet, he’s agreed a highly structured deal with 777 were he gets something North of £150 mill over time with clauses, that’s why he’s selling to 777. - because usually they wouldn’t get near this, it’s too good an opportunity for them to miss.

Us going into administration would be huge reputation damage for Moshiri across his diverse sectors. While he defo doesn’t want to draw the ire of politicians.

So he either drops his price and negotiates a new deal, he funds us, he puts into administration or we renegotiate with creditors. All the other options would be more palatable before administration for him (and our creditors), in my opinion.

Come to think of it, what does Moshiri even do these days other than not run Everton? He left USM, and I've not heard of him doing anything else. If all he does all day is sit about in his velvet jacket on a yacht maybe he couldn't give two hoots about reputational damage.

Not sure how liege is in trouble...
The Belgian FA have announced that Standard Liege are now under a transfer embargo. This is the second time this season that the side have been put under a transfer ban. The first came after a non-payment of group insurance, which was quickly rectified.
This time, the ban relates to non-payments concerning the transfer of Aron Dønnum and Ilyes Ziani. There is also a factor of missed payments to the ONSS, the Belgian Department of Social Security. The ban will be in place for the January transfer window and could seriously hamper the sides plans for the rest of the season. Reports had suggested that the side wanted to bring in another attacking player to bolster their goal scoring options, yet these will now have to be put on hold until the ban is lifted.

Sounds great.

His wealth has doubled since he took us over going by the glad rags like Forbes - though id expect his fortune to be greater and murkier then known.

As for exactly what, you’d find he’s still involved in a lot of the diversity USM were/are involved boots on the ground. He just resigned from the board, not sure he sold stakes etc.

Suspect it's his ability to access cash that's the problem, his or Usmanov's. A lot of that increase in wealth is no doubt linked to Russian based investments.

Any movement of his money, which is likely held off-shore, will no doubt be highly scrutinised as a result of his link to a sanctioned individual.

A rabbit in a hat away mate.

One of the things I always pointed out was it was fundamentally unhealthy to become dependent on being drip fed by an owner for the reasons we’re living through, without outside funds we can’t fund our costs.

There are options there even now to avoid administration, but Moshiri needs to take a big dose of humble medicine or change his attitude to funding us if 777 falls through.

Completing the stadium takes a huge cost of us, if we manage the credit right.

He has options or rabbits in the hat still - but it’s if you trust him…..

I’d imagine so mate, it’s also made him toxic to good credit, hence we are left with R&M, 777 and MSP.

How easy could it have been to have a £500 mill construction loan at 2-5%.

One of the biggest mistakes of Moshiri/ The Board was not taking that finance when it was on offer. Not only would we be in a better position financially but as a club we'd be a much more attractive prospect to any potential new owner/ investor. Hindsight and all that 🙄

Surely that's your fit and proper person test right there. How could the Premier League green flag someone who is likely to stiff it's own members on transfer fees.
