We were crying out for a Ross Barkley in the middle of the park yesterday in the 4-5-1. 4-4-2 with Dom and Beto up top didn't work at all. Dom looks half arsed too busy messing with his shorts and looking around and Beto would rather wrestle his man than run at goal.

Defender had Beto in his pocket all game. He or the team needed to try something different.
Our midfield was non existent, we are really struggling without Doucs - hope hes back soon.

Needs to be a plan B. Must be someone who can play in the middle when Doucs is out . If not we need to try and bring one in this window.

Just don’t understand the idea of playing 4-4-2 yesterday, when the last time we played that formation for any spell of time was also against Luton and it was a spectacular failure. Incredibly naive. If Doucoure is still not available for the upcoming fixtures I’d rather see 4-2-3-1 with McNeil, Danjuma and Harrison playing behind Calvert-Lewin. Would at least offer a bit more width. I’m worried Dyche’s solution might be going to 3 centre backs.

Luton scored in the sixth minute of second-half injury time yesterday, when there was only five minutes added on. They time wasted on at least five occasions yesterday, Tim Krul being the main culprit. So, for all their time wasting, we are the one's who ultimately get punished?
Fair point, but we did have 90 minutes to put the game to bed. Failed on that again.

It's a minimum of five added minutes, the ref can add on more moreorless as he sees fit.

Happened to us a few times this. Teams time waste and then break in injury time and pick a sly goal up when they are the team that have been time wasting all game. More needs to be done. Villa scored from a corner against us last year at Goodison which was well over time.
