Could you please write a list of the players Moyes signed in the summer and then a second list of the players he was lumbered with due to nameless incompetents in the shadows so we all have complete clarity on who signed who despite Moyes...

They also turned their noses up at Schneiderlin and Gibson who both "played at a higher level" and would apparently definitely improve the team but were, in fact, mince.

Yup, build for the future🤣...problem with buying PL proven 30 year olds...they slow down, they are used to fat wages and will have ZERO resale value...been there, done that, had a long expensive clear out now we want to restock with the same ilk...

I don't hate Moyes, he is what he is. Similar to Hodgson for Palace. A pragmatic negative manager who will grind out results. Similar to Dyche, Allardyche and Pulis. Moyes is slightly better than them. I want Everton to win trophies, we will...

I think the correct term used by the Moyes fans is ‘hipster’ managers.😊

Well you've nailed it. Moyes has signed the wrong players and Jack is very expensive gloss on that, especially only available for 50% of the season. He's getting older and not playing much... No pace, expensive. I'm seeing people on this...

The hope is that if we don't resign Grealish that an alternative to McNeil would be signed though. I really hope it isn't an either/or situation.

Best of luck next year (well with two exceptions, obviously). After everything Coventry have been through with terrible owners (another thing we have in common) I'm pleased to see you guys back in the top flight.

Few current links between the clubs....Lampard and Simms etc. But the biggest link for me is that Mrs Covkid1968, the wife, is an Evertonian - so I have been looking forward to us coming up (preferable to you coming down) for many many years...

If hes responsible for KDH then he is responsible for Barry Dibling Rohl or hes not responsible for any of them signings.

I was being slightly facetious but if the conflict in Iran goes on for years and/or the rest of the world moves to oil providers in other parts of the world and/or accelerates the move away from fossil fuels then gulf based businesses and even...

windymiller replied to the thread 2025/26 David Moyes.
All signings are the responsibility of the manager. If they go well, great, he justly deserves the credit, if they go poorly then he has to accept a portion of the blame. It's nonsensical to claim that those that work out are down to the genius...
